1. Information We Collect

We collect and process the following categories of information when you use Bookstuh / STUH Ebooks:

Account information: your email address and display name when you register.
Authentication and security logs: login attempts, session tokens, and security event records used to protect your account.
Purchase and order records: ebook purchases, order numbers, and transaction status (payment card details are handled by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers).
Subscription status: STUH+ subscription plan, billing interval, renewal dates, and access status (synchronized from Stripe).
Support requests: messages you send through the support system or by email.
Saved workspace data: Schemes, Scheme nodes and relationships, personal notes, Play Vault saves, Mastery/progress records, GameTime sessions and call history, and Reader activity.
Device, browser, and session information: device type, browser type, and session duration.
IP-derived security information: approximate geographic location (country and region) derived from your IP address, used for security and fraud prevention.
Preferences: theme preferences and notification settings.
Communications: records of transactional and service-related emails sent to you.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to: provide access to purchased content and the STUH+ Workspace; process payments through Stripe; manage subscriptions and recurring billing; send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, support responses, subscription lifecycle notices); prevent fraud and enforce our single-user license terms; provide, secure, and improve the Service; and respond to support requests.

3. Data Sharing and Service Providers

Bookstuh does not sell your personal information. To operate, secure, and maintain the Service, your data may be shared with vendors and service providers as necessary, including: payment processing (Stripe); hosting and cloud infrastructure; email delivery; analytics; and security/fraud prevention services. These providers process data on Bookstuh's behalf under applicable agreements and are subject to applicable law. Bookstuh may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Bookstuh, our users, or others.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Bookstuh does not store full credit or debit card numbers on its servers.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including: Stripe for payment processing and subscription management; Google for authentication and email; and Twitch/YouTube for embedded video content. Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may also request account deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the support system or by submitting a support request from your account. Note that completed transaction records may be retained for legal, tax, and compliance purposes even after account deletion.

7. Affiliate Disclosure
